This style with single chain strap and curved front panel, also known as the "Diana bag," made famous by Princess Diana who carried this bag, was recently resurrected by Chanel due to its popularity, but not again in this quality and craftsmanship.

The long single woven shoulder chain can be worn long cross body (as it is a single chain) or doubled up as a short clutch, and the versatility makes it convenient for either work or play. One main compartment with side zipper pocket. Instead of a double flap and double strap, there is one long strap, allowing for the chain to connect directly with the main base of the bag instead of the top flap, allowing for better durability and structure. In the medium size, the classic Diana flap is 10 inches wide and carries more than the medium classic flap due to the roomier interior.
This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of normal use. Corners show light rubbing at some corners and some wear at the edges; however, they are minimal and the remainder of the bag remains puffy, petal-soft and untouched, so despite the bottom edge wear showcased, we have ranked this excellent. Especially, the bag is still in its original petal-soft condition, with visible soft pores and with puffy quilts; more than 9 out of 10 Diana bags in this color have been refurbished in some way even with wear. We have showcased and magnified the areas of wear in the photos for your viewing. Hardware is clean and shiny. It is a deep, yellow 24k gold plated hardware which is impossible now to find in stores as it is no longer produced. Interior is clean. The beautiful leather is petal-soft, never refurbished, and representative of a time period when Chanel's quality was at its height. In person, it is breaktaking. Photos do not do this bag justice.
